Welcome to Derby Chamber Music
The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.
We organise a series of concerts each season between September and April. Our 2025/26 season will begin on Saturday 27th September 2025 with a joint concert with Music at Duffield. The concert will be held at 7.30pm at St Alkmund’s church, Duffield and The English Chamber Ensemble will be performing. They will be kicking off the new season with a fantastic programme – please see below for details.

Our 2025/26 season of concerts will commence on Saturday 27th September when we will be welcoming the English Chamber Ensemble. Please note that this is a joint concert with Music at Duffield and will be held on the Saturday evening at St. Alkmund's church Duffield.
The English Chamber Ensemble are a group of the country's leading string musicians (including our patron Katherine Jenkinson) who will be performing Bach's 3rd Brandenburg Concerto, Mendelssohn's Octet and an arrangement of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. With such a great lineup and programme this promises to be an unmissable concert!
Refreshments will be served in the interval and there is ample free on site parking.

Our Venue
Derby Chamber Music concerts are held at the Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby.
Parking is easy, convenient and free, disabled access is also convenient and the venue is warm and comfortable.
All our concerts start at 4.00pm.
